Business Development Manager – UK Banking 

London Based : Travel will be required to customer premises where and when appropriate 

 

Skills and Experience:

Your role will involve finding, developing and winning new business across accounts with the Banking sector, collaborating with our specialist sales, product and solutions teams to open new doors and working to share our Fujitsu Technology and Services vision of where we have market specific and customer specific propositions which will make these customers able to keep up with the market they work within today.

 

The suitable candidate for this role will have experience in new business development, be a strong communicator at all levels of the business upto and including CXO. They will be target driven and results oriented with a strong experience of solutions selling and preferably MEDPIC qualification methodologies or similar to demonstrate how they can develop and qualify during the sales cycle in a way that enables win rates of over 25% in their key customer engagements.

 

The successful candidate will need to be confident with cold customer outreach, inbound and marketing established lead development as well as the ability to find and develop leads for themselves across the Banking Sector.  They will have a strong focus on working with our key technology partners to build new outcomes for customers, as well as delivering pitches to senior stakeholders and partners alike.

 

We want someone who is comfortable both working on their own or part of a team, who can help the wider business grow by challenging both Fujitsu and it’s customers to think differently, whilst ensuring that they stay inside the regulatory and business governance which we have in place to protect both Fujitsu and it’s customers from issue.

Fujitsu is a Global Technology business, who both make and develop next generation technology such as Quantum computing and AI, but also deliver solutions which make our customers more efficient both for their customers and the people who operate within these businesses.  We have recently come to market as a Banking, Financial Servies ad Insurance vertical. 

 

Fujitsu has itself a 30 year pedigree within the UK BFSI market and has provided solutions to financial institutions and critical UK infrastructure across a number of key accounts and customers during this time.  We are now looking to grow this sector using our experience of these customers and our global and regional product mix to take the business forward.  The Sector aim is to grow the bottom and top line through not only retaining and growing our existing customer relationships but finding and winning new ones which is where this role is focused. 

Your transferable skills and experience:

  • Experience finding, developing and winning new brands and logo 
  • Sales experience of building and proposing complex multi tower business
  • Selling to the UK Banking and/or Financial Services market
  • Understanding of the BFSI regulatory landscape and relevant frameworks
  • Ability to demonstrate winning business within this sector
  • Understanding of the customers within UK Banking and the partner landscape they utilise
  • Demonstrable multi year performance/over performance against sales metrics such as Total Contract Value
  • Strong communication skills both externally and internally
  • Able to demonstrate a core understanding of the sales process and alignment to sales methodologies such as MEDPIC, BANT, SPIN, etc…
  • You must be willing and eligible to undergo security clearance for this position
