Every Patient. Every Family. Every Time.

At Mountain Valley, what we do is personal. Personal for those we serve and personal for us. Every day we stand shoulder to shoulder with individuals facing the most daunting challenge they will ever face – a serious, or even a terminal, illness. We help those with advanced illness cope with their day-to-day struggles, whether physical, emotional, social, or spiritual. We also aspire to help our communities better understand end-of-life care. For those of us at Mountain Valley, there could never be a more important or rewarding job.

We’re looking for a Hardware Technician I to join our dedicated IT team and ensure our staff have the tools and technology they need to deliver that mission.

  • Assist with system upgrades, security patching, and regular maintenance.
  • Support the rollout of new technology solutions across the organization.
  • Keep IT documentation and asset inventory accurate and up-to-date.
  • Partner with fellow IT team members to solve complex problems.

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate degree (2-year) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field required.
  • 1–2 years of IT support or hardware technician experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and thrive in a team environment.

Work Location & Schedule

  • Hybrid: 3 days in the office / 2 days remote each week.
  • Rotating on-call duty: one week per month.

 Why Mountain Valley?

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and variety in their day.
