Pay: $2,296.80/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med-Surg/Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Allentown, PA on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical support. The ideal candidate is experienced in MS/Tele nursing, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is committed to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MS/Tele unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered by the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate and optimize patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment, disease management, and discharge instructions.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Adhere to infection control policies, safety protocols, and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact eligibility).
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent MS/Tele nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care.
• COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
