The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our inbound and outbound power sections components. This multifaceted position involves verifying inbound/outbound inventory, optimizing material flow, and collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth operations. The Coordinator's contribution in traffic control and inventory organization contributes to a safe and productive warehouse environment, while their active participation in cycle count processes enhances inventory accuracy. Their commitment to quality and attention to detail are evident in the careful handling of the power sections components, ensuring precision, and professionalism. 


Requirements

  • Quoting and pricing  
  • Utilize Standard Last Direct (SLD) and quoted methods to provide accurate and competitive price quotes to customers  
  • Ensure adherence to pricing policies and guidelines while preparing quotes 
  • Evaluate purchase orders, determine standard costs for parts and Net Book Value (NBV) for fixed assets 
  • Ensure accurate valuation of purchases according to established accounting principles  
  • Verify that mobilization of personnel and equipment is authorized only with a valid customer purchase order
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure proper documentation and authorization for customer orders 
  • Create Sales Order Requests (SOR) for customer orders, capturing all relevant details and specifications
  • Submit SOR to the accounting department for approval and processing 
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in invoice values according to established guidelines 
  • Generate SOR invoices for orders received from Dubai and Canada locations 
  • Document motor styles and specifications based on captured data. 
  • Capture information about the way the motor was built, enabling the creation of a baseline for future motor designs
  • Collaborate with the motor sales team to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation for future reference 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational and customer service skills 
  • Ability to meet short deadlines and to be detail oriented 
  • Experience working in a Lean/Six Sigma environment a plus 
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required 
  • Advanced English communication skills, both verbal and written required 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to approach problems/customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and to follow up to ensure resolution
