1st Choice Vac Solutions (affiliated with Ditch Witch Midwest) is an authorized distributor of pipeline inspection camera systems across Northern Illinois, and we’re seeking a Pipeline Camera Sales Specialist who is ready to own results. This is not just a sales job—it’s an opportunity to take full control of your pipeline, push deals forward, and make a measurable impact.
What You’ll Do:
- Work independently to drive business growth, managing your territory with autonomy and urgency.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, exceeding quotas and never settling for average.
- Build trust and credibility with municipal and commercial customers, leveraging persuasive communication to move the sales process forward.
- Conduct product demonstrations and consultations, translating technical details into customer value.
- Follow through relentlessly with excellent detail management—ensuring promises are kept and customers receive top-tier service.
- Ask for the order and close business by combining technical expertise with relationship-driven salesmanship.
Field-based role covering Northern Illinois and Greater Chicago with travel to customers, trade shows, and industry events.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- Proven success in outside sales, consistently exceeding goals.
- Experience with capital equipment and long sales cycles preferred.
- Ability to balance strategic big-picture selling with detail-oriented follow-up that ensures customer satisfaction.
- A persuasive, consultative style with a natural ability to influence decisions and win trust.
- Strong technical aptitude (mechanical/electrical knowledge is a plus).
- A self-motivated, independent work ethic with a relentless drive to win.
Working Conditions:
- This is a field-based position requiring regular travel across Northern Illinois and the Greater Chicago Area.
- Occasional attendance at trade shows, conferences, and company meetings is required.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
