An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Partner to join the team in Commercial Aviation Value Streams.
Our People Partners hold a unique role here, partnering the business leadership team on development and implementation of business strategy, focusing on the people and organisational agenda - unlocking our full potential.
To drive the business strategy and enable true business partnering you will support your business in a wide range of areas including; employee experience, talent management, inclusion, leadership, learning, performance, reward and more! Our Head Office teams of Subject Matter Experts provide the strategies and you will drive this through our Manufacturing Operations business unit.
Responsibilities:
The Commercial Aviation Value Streams in Civil Aerospace has full Profit and Loss Accountability delivering the financial outcomes for the Trent XWB and Trent Fleet and Mature Engines portfolio. We are in an exciting phase of growth, delivering significant operating profit for Civil Aerospace whilst taking a leading role in propelling the organisation to world class levels of financial and operational performance. The opportunities that lie ahead of us are significant and the Value Streams are laying the foundations for the future.
Working in the Civil Aerospace People Team you’ll be leading the people agenda, developing and implementing plans to ensure the right level of talent, organisation, capabilities and culture. As a key member of the team you can expect:
- Partnering the leadership team in mobilising the people strategy and driving the business plan, bringing the latest HR insights.
- Coaching the leadership team in handling sensitive or complex people issues.
- Supporting leaders with their personal development and alignment to our leadership expectations.
- Providing employee relations advice aligned with the context of the business area.
- Managing people change programs in your business area and beyond.
- Implementing site level organisational change aligned to People / Business agenda.
- Bring challenge and perspective to the business agenda, diagnosing business problems and using tools to identify the levers which will maximise organisational performance.
- Develop effective talent and capability development plans to deliver strategic workforce plans and build an environment that supports our people to be at their best.
- Deliver resourcing plans to meet business commitments.
- Working collaboratively with our broad people team network including our Global People Services team.

- Ability to coach senior leaders and their teams to deliver business strategy and drive performance and capability improvement within their teams.
- Sensitive to language and cultural differences.
- Experience of working effectively with employee representatives.
- Continual commitment to personal learning, demonstrated ability to build on learning and share within the broader People Team.
