We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our field operationsteam. This is a rare and exciting opportunity toplay a key role in maintaining the UK’s vital maritime safety assets whileworking alongside experienced engineers, technicians, and maritimeprofessionals.

What You’ll Do
- Maintenance.  Responsible for carrying outtechnical tasks in support to the Field Operations team traveling to manyseaside and offshore locations working on Navigation Aids and support systems atlighthouses, cottages and associated buildings and structures.
- Carry out inspections, and maintenance regimes: You will beresponsible for ensuring the Maintenance Management Information System we use(MMIS) is kept up to date, this system can then be utilised to plan upcomingworks with the team.
The MMIS is to be updatedwith both completed tasks and new works required to ensurethe lighthouses are kept fully operational at all times.
- Managerecords, supplies, and stores: As well asreporting necessary works, you will be expected to use our MMIS to documentinspection results and maintain an inventory of equipment and supplies requiredon-station.
 - Site Supervision and Installation Works. Once at a competent level within the team you will have opportunity tobe responsible for supervising on-site installations of new equipment andtechnology from supporting departments within the corporation, organising otherteam members and contractors work and carrying out technical tasks in supportof the team.
- Work with helicopters, large ships, and local boats: TrinityHouse utilises the helicopters and three ships, as well as local boats to carryout its work. You will have the opportunity to plan travel onboard and workalongside all of them.
- Travel and explore: From rugged coastal sites to isolated offshore lighthouses, you willvisit some of the most breathtaking locations in the country. Bear in mind thatextended time away from home is a key aspect of this role. You will however becompensated accordingly.
- Gain valuable training and qualifications in a wide variety of engineering, maritime operations, and health &safety disciplines.

Skills and Experience
- A good level of experience in a technicalmaintenance/installation role,
- Experienced in the maintenance of PLC based controlsystems,
- An appropriate level of practical training as provided bya craft apprenticeship,
- Expansive knowledge of electronic fault finding tocomponent level,
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations andElectricity at Work regulations desirable.

Qualifications
- A level 3 qualification in a relevant electronic baseddiscipline or suitable experience,
- Full driving licence.
