Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation for the purpose of solving problems and determining appropriate actions to maintain computer/printer operations on the network;
- Collaborates with Information Technology Services administration and staff for the purpose of completing projects and/or work orders efficiently;
- Installs computer hardware, operating systems, application software, and related equipment for the purpose of meeting the technology needs of the District;
- Prepares documentation for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information;
- Advises staff regarding the procurement of District approved technology equipment, supplies and materials for the purpose of maintaining District standards;
- Repairs District approved computers, peripherals, network equipment, application and operating software, requiring specialized computer and electronics troubleshooting skills for the purpose of maintaining computer and network client devices in a safe and functional operating condition;
- Transports various items (e.g. tools, equipment, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at job site;
- Maintains current knowledge of technology and industry trends (e.g. hardware, software, peripherals, related equipment) for the purpose of enhancing the use and understanding of available technology in support of District needs.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

Certificates & Licenses:
- Valid Washington State Driver's License required (must be able to fulfill all traveling requirements of this position, including possessing and maintaining a valid license and automobile insurance, when using a personal vehicle for District business);
- MCP/MCSE, Apple Technical School, IC3, and/or A+ certifications preferred.
