The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2025–26 YMCA Workforce Development Cohort, launching this November!
This program is more than a job. It is an opportunity to explore career pathways, gain financial independence, and grow personally and professionally. Our Workforce Development Program is research-driven and designed to prepare students for success in today’s workforce. Through a combination of career readiness training, hands-on experience, and professional mentorship, participants walk away with valuable skills, meaningful connections, and a stronger sense of confidence in their future.
What You’ll Gain

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the YMCA Workforce Development Program, applicants must:
- Be a current high school junior or senior with a minimum GPA of 2.0
- Be eligible to work in the United States and provide proper documentation
- Be able to complete a minimum of 250 program hours during the 2025–26 cohort
