Responsibilities:
- Participate in month-end close process which includes, but is not limited to:
- Posting & documentation of journal entries on a timely basis
- Ensuring completeness and accuracy of monthly account reconciliations
- Assisting in supplemental reporting
- Reconcile assigned Balance Sheet Accounts collaborating with business unit accounting team
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Provide financial analysis and assist in quarterly forecasting
- Provide supporting data for quarterly and annual audits
- Reconcile financial transactions and summarize accounting information
- Manage and account for the business unit’s fixed assets
- Support year end closing procedures
- Complete other ad-hoc tasks as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Accounting
- 3 -4 years of comparable work experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP and tax guidelines including federal and state
- Proficiency in MS Office products – intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Target Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 salary per year. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
