Sunday River is seeking a Snowmaking Master Electrician to perform electrical work (installation) as directed by the Snowmaking and Electrical Manager in the snowmaking plant. All work done by the Master Electrician must meet electrical code, and they must be comfortable working with a wide array of low and high voltage systems, be able to read electrical schematics, use a multi-meter, and have experience troubleshooting electrical issues. This position works closely with all department teams to ensure a high-quality guest experience and must have great attention to detail and safety precautions, and good communication skills, (both oral and written), as well as experience with high and low voltage controls and PLC driven systems.
Responsibilities:- Any and all electrical work with be performed by licensed personnel or other qualified technicians.
- Complete work in a timely manner according to the national electrical code.
- Must accept responsibility for all work performed.
- Must be able to work on D.C. drives, both digital and analog
- Must be able to climb poles to work on pole lines and have high voltage experience.
- Have knowledge of AC and DC motors, controllers, soft starts, and drives.
- Must know instrumentation and low voltage controls, phone systems and devices, residential, commercial, and industrial electrical.
- Be proficient with industrial controls (including programming and troubleshooting PLCs and digital drives), possess an ability to solve issues under pressure and think critically
- Must possess a Master Electrician’s License in the State of Maine.
- Must have significant experience in the electrical field.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
- Motor drive experience is beneficial but not required.
- Musth be able to read and design schematics and blueprints
- Must be able to use vibration equipment and Meggar.
- Must have knowledge of oscilloscopes.
- Mush be able to understand ohms lay, resistance and milliamps.
