Job Title: Staff Accountant

Department Name: Accounting/Office

Reports to (title): Division Controller

Job Summary: Providing financial, administrative, and clerical services (including cross-training with A/P Associate) in the daily operation of the department.

Essential Job Functions:

• Preparation and posting of journal entries, accruals, prepaids, reconciliations and fixed assets.
• Reconcile Balance sheet and P&L accounts on a monthly basis.
• Maintain daily bank reconciliations and working with Accounts Receivable on discrepancies.
• Assist with month end close.
• Assist with our budget and forecasting process.
• Assist with year-end audits.
• Assist and back up Accounts Payable when needed.
• Assist Controller and/or Management with special projects.
• Distribute daily cash worksheet reporting.
• Distribute daily sales reporting.
• Process expense reports and credit card statements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field 
• 3-5 years relevant work experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and Accounts Payable with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy (detail oriented) and consistent.
• Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Knowledge of Acumatica a plus
