Job Location: 30167 Power Line Rd; Brooksville, FL 34602
Work Hours/Days of Position: Full Time, Monday-Friday
At Spartronics, the Facilities Maintenance Operator will take part in building and equipment maintenance which includes fabrication, repair, alteration, installation, and rework as assigned. The ideal candidate will work alongside the team to help ensure the facility remains safe, orderly and in good working condition.
What a Day Looks Like:
- Perform general facility maintenance tasks, including but not limited to construction, installation, repairs, painting, drywall, framing, flooring, and plumbing.
- Conduct regular utilities and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment and facility performance.
- Assist with electrical and HVAC installation, repair, and inspections under the supervision of qualified personnel.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, and other specialized maintenance areas.
- Support electrical work including layout, installation, maintenance, and repair in compliance with safety codes and technical documentation.
- Perform testing on repaired equipment and maintain safety systems such as fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in accordance with company quality procedures.
- Use asset tracking and work order software to manage preventive maintenance tasks.
- Assist with sourcing parts, tools, and materials as needed for facilities maintenance activities.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
The experience we’re looking for to add to the team:
- High school graduate or equivalent with directly related experience in facilities maintenance
- Associates Degree in relevant field with 5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb a ladder to 8 ft height, as well as bend, reach, stoop, and crawl to perform various maintenance operations.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend written work instructions
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to use hand and power tools associated with maintenance to building.
- Must have technical mechanical reasoning ability.
- Ability to obtain a forklift license required.
- Due to ITAR regulations you must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Green Card Holder. We can not sponsor Visas.
