Concept Solutions is seeking a Regulatory Investigations Analyst. This position supports the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Command, Control, and Communications (C3) office which is responsible for ensuring emergency operations are maintained. If disruptions such as national emergencies, natural disasters, or equipment malfunctions occur, the C3 office is chartered with restoring the communication services expeditiously. The C3 office is responsible for a number of communications projects and programs.

The Regulatory Investigations Analyst will, under the Security and Hazardous Materials Safety Office (ASH), provide assistance to the Regulatory Investigations Division through duties determined by the Division Manager. ASH initiates and conducts administrative and regulatory investigations on FAA employees, contractors, non-employees, and certificated airmen suspected of violating various FAA orders and regulations. 

This in an on-site position at the FAA Training Center in Oklahoma City, OK.  

Primary responsibilities include:

• Intake and record all notification letters received from airmen related to alcohol/drug-related motor vehicle actions

• Establish an investigative record in applicable databases pertaining to information received from various sources 

• Research and order applicable driving histories and related evidentiary records pertaining to information received from various sources 

• Research FAA databases and obtain applicable airman data to conduct preliminary investigations

• Track diligence of work, prioritize, and reorder records, as needed

• Perform preliminary investigations to determine compliance with FAA regulations

• Compose and send compliance letters or education letters to airmen, when applicable  

• Update applicable databases during the preliminary investigation process and upon final determination

• Refer preliminary investigations for formal investigation, when applicable 

• Conduct expungement of records, when applicable

• Perform other duties, as assigned 

Salary: 45K to 56K

Compensation is not guaranteed and may vary based on qualifications, location, and contractual requirements. Actual salary may fall outside the stated range.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and 10+ years of relevant experience

• Or relevant BS Degree and 8+ years of experience

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice desired, but not required

• Three years or more of investigative experience desired

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications

• Ability to read and comprehend complex information, such as Federal regulations or technical information

• Ability to work well with internal and external customers

• Experience communicating technical, regulatory, or other complex information clearly to diverse audiences, through graphics, verbally, and in writing

• Ability to exercise sound judgment

• U.S. Citizen only. Must pass a background investigation and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance

Amount of Travel - 10% of local travel
