Landscaping Services - Laborer presso Skillforce

About the Role:

Skillforce is seeking a Landscaping Services Laborer near the Easton, MD area. You will play a vital role in maintaining outdoor environments for residential and commercial clients. Your work will directly contribute to the beautification and upkeep of landscapes, ensuring that lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces are healthy, safe, and visually appealing. This position requires physical stamina and attention to detail as you will be involved in tasks such as planting, mulching, lawn care, and general landscape maintenance. You will collaborate closely with a team of landscaping professionals to execute project plans efficiently and meet client expectations. 

Pay Range: Up to $20.00/HR

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic and reliability with punctual attendance.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
• Familiarity with plant care, soil types, and irrigation systems.
• Certification in pesticide application or horticulture.
• Experience operating heavy landscaping machinery such as skid steers or mini-excavators.
• Basic understanding of safety regulations related to construction and landscaping.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual labor tasks including digging, planting, trimming, mowing, and mulching to maintain and improve landscapes.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Assist in the installation of landscape features including sod, plants, trees, irrigation systems, and hardscape elements.
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
• Load and unload materials, transport tools and supplies to job sites, and assist with site cleanup and debris removal.
