The Opportunity
We are seeking a Lease Manager to join our Integrated Portfolio Management team in Sydney. This role is responsible for managing lease portfolios, providing day-to-day lease advice, and ensuring compliance with client obligations. You will work closely with clients, landlords, agents, and solicitors, as well as internal teams, to support portfolio operations and deliver best-in-class service.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Manage lease administration, reporting, and compliance obligations.
Maintain accuracy of property management databases, including lease abstractions and reconciliations.
Oversee invoicing, expenditure budgets, and tenant recharges.
Provide market analysis and benchmarking to identify savings across non-rent expenditure lines.
Liaise with solicitors on new leases, renewals, options, and surrenders.
Ensure client and tenant compliance with lease obligations.
Partner with internal teams (Transaction Managers, Analysts, Finance, Customer Experience Centre) to deliver seamless service.
About You
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in lease or property management, including use of lease management databases and reporting systems.
Strong understanding of property operations and lease documentation.
Proven ability to manage client relationships and negotiate outcomes in line with expectations.
Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.
Strong financial acumen with attention to detail in reporting and compliance.
Tertiary qualification in Real Estate, Business, or Finance (preferred) with an Estate Agents License or Agent’s Representative qualification advantageous.
