On-site role at Kings River Packing, LP headquarters office in Sanger, CA.

Kings River Packing, LP is seeking a Grower Accountant to join our accounting team and play a key role in supporting the company’s financial operations and related entities. This position will handle grower accounting functions, lot processing, import programs, and settlement reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all responsibilities. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Grower Accountant will work closely with internal departments, growers, and external partners while maintaining alignment with the company’s mission and values.

Work You’ll Do:

• Lot Processing
  • Reconcile sales and inventory for lots.
  • Perform weekly packhouse lot close and process packhouse payments.
  • Complete weekly reconciliation of lot reporting.
  • Research and verify activities, ensuring records are filed and maintained accurately.
• Import Program
  • Process grower advances and settlements, including payments.
  • File customs paperwork as required.
  • Reconcile grower settlements to the general ledger.
  • Review all charges by lot and verify that all applicable expenses are accounted for.
• Collaboration with A/R Department
  • Review A/R aging and assist in resolving outstanding issues.
• Report directly to the Controller.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, Required; Bachelor's Degree (Accounting, Ag. Business), preferred.
• 2 years of experience preferred.  
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Famous software.
• Experience in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Team-oriented and service-focused attitude.
• Flexibility in duties and assignments, with willingness to work occasional overtime.
• Alignment with company mission and core values.

Physical Demands & Abilities:

• Ability to sit for extended periods working from a computer.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

• $72,000 – $85,000, DOE
