Part-Time Accounting Specialist (AR/AP)
Looking for a flexible accounting role that keeps you engaged without the stress of payroll or year-end tax crunches? Olomana Loomis ISC is a full-service integrated business consulting, marketing, brand, and communications firm, since 1996. We are seeking a Part-Time Accounting Specialist focused on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to help keep our operations running smoothly.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys accounting work but prefers a balanced, less stressful role. You will work closely with our PEO and CFO, but will not be responsible for payroll, year-end taxes, or financial performance reporting.
About the Role
The Accounting Specialist will handle AR/AP functions, process day-to-day transactions, and maintain accurate records. This hybrid position provides flexibility while offering meaningful support to our finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices, verify documentation, and prepare payments.
Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and recording deposits.
Perform bank deposits and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Reconcile discrepancies by researching and resolving issues promptly.
Support Controller and Media Planner/Buyer with data entry and reporting.
Assist with other routine accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on AR/AP.
Proficiency in accounting software; Workamajig, QuickBooks, or similar platforms strongly preferred.
Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel/Word.
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Must pass a written accounting test.

This is a part-time position, up to 30 hours per week, with a flexible hybrid schedule (Monday–Friday). Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
