About the role:

The Filling Technician brings a high level of responsibility and dedication to the position. You must be vigilant and perceptive while operating the machinery to avoid accidents. We are looking for a candidate who is efficient and quick, meets daily quotas, and is able to operate the machinery for several hours at a time. In addition to operating the machinery, you will complete administrative work at the end of your shift, weigh the products you package, and perform simple maintenance on the machines. Responsibilities

  • Perform product inspection for defects, leaks, and particulates.
  • Observe machine operations to ensure the quality and conformity of filled products to company standards.
  • Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to warehouse standards.
  • Regulate machine flow, speed, and temperature.
  • Stop or reset the machine when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to the Filling Supervisor.
  • Check out all consumables through Seed to Sale software before using it in the machine. (carts & caps)
  • Track all data associated with using the Ozmos must be completed at the end of the shift.
  • Occasionally take over the blending of oil and terpenes when needed
  • Check back stock of machine replacement parts, notifying Fill Supervisor to adjust inventory anytime units are pulled for operations
  • Inspection of machine operations, being proactive on troubleshooting to reduce waste
  • Tracking and reporting all consumables pulled from Seed to Sale
  • Fix any physical or cosmetic issues that don’t contaminate the product

Candidate Qualifications

Skills

  • Knowledge of filling and Q/C Q/A operations and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to perform calculations.
  • Ability to work within established warehouse procedures and practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Experience

  • 2+  years experience in a quality or manufacturing department of a pharmaceutical or Medical Marijuana facility, Medical Device, or Allied Health Science. (Preferred)
  • Experience in product Q/C and Q/A
  • Experience within a regulated environment

Educational Background / Certificates

  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED with work experience

Additional Qualifications

  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or state officials.
  • Employment offers are contingent upon the successful completion of the criminal background check for cannabis badging.
  • Valid State Issued ID
