We are looking for a motivated Working Student to join our lab in Neubiberg. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting lab operations, working with MCU development boards, and contributing to prototype and test activities. This position is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a practical environment while building valuable skills for a future career in electronics and embedded systems.
 
Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day lab operations and equipment maintenance
  • Test, connect, and debug MCU development boards and peripherals (GPIO, I²C, SPI, UART)
  • Build simple prototypes using breadboards
  • Perform basic PCB soldering, rework, and component replacement
  • Use a digital multimeter and standard lab instruments for electrical measurements
  • Document test setups, results, and observations clearly and accurately
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of MCU applications and standard interfaces (GPIO, I²C, SPI, UART)
  • Ability to read circuit schematics or block diagrams
  • Hands-on experience with basic soldering and board rework/repair
  • Comfortable prototyping with breadboards
  • Proficiency with a digital multimeter for basic checks and troubleshooting
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Engineering, or a related field
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Basic programming skills in C or Python
  • Fundamental knowledge of communication protocols (I²C, SPI, UART)
