Summary Statement:
The host person is essential to servicing all the guests at Kusa Nori. The host person shall greet & welcome all the guests to be seated in the restaurant. The host person will have full knowledge of the reservation process and confirm with all guests.
Job Duties:Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:
- Greet and welcome all guests upon entering the venue.
- Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
- Bid farewell to all guests upon departing and extend an invitation to return to visit soon.
- Oversee daily restaurant reservations and pre-seating assignment, when necessary.
- Answer restaurant telephone courteously, quickly and efficiently.
- Perform all opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
- Rotate to other Food & Beverage outlets/venues, as necessary.
- Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
- Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
Preferred:
- Previous experience as a Host person or a Server in a similar or related field.
- Working knowledge of restaurant table management software system(s).
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Must be 21 years of age
- At least six months customer service experience.
- Working knowledge of restaurant operations.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

- Food Handler Card
- Alcohol Awareness Card
