OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supply Chain Manager is a key member of Ingenium Aerospace’s leadership team. This role oversees strategic and tactical procurement activities, supplier relationships, and materials management from initial proposals through final product delivery. The successful candidate will:
- Lead company-wide procurement strategy and execution.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. government laws and regulations (domestic and international).
- Drive improvements in cost, quality, delivery, and inventory.
- Partner with internal teams to meet customer expectations and long-range business goals.
- Build strong supplier relationships and implement solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Lead and supervise day-to-day procurement activities.
- Collaborate with operations to manage and optimize inventory.
- Ensure timely order placement and delivery for manufacturing needs.
- Serve as primary point of contact with suppliers for technical products and services.
- Lead RFIs/RFPs, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and issue resolution (quality, cost, schedule, compliance).
- Partner with engineering, software, manufacturing, quality, finance, facilities, and program management teams.
- Conduct supplier assessments; implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor supplier performance (technical, quality, delivery, and financial).
- Identify and implement cost savings opportunities.
- Resolve component shortages quickly to prevent production delays.
- Participate in the creation, maintenance and compliance of company standards.
- Perform additional duties assigned by leadership.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
- 10 years of procurement experience; aerospace preferred.
- Prior experience in an operations/procurement leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace sourcing, purchasing, and procurement processes.
- Proven ability to drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to assess key business metrics.
- Experience mentoring and developing procurement staff.
- Ability to prioritize and lead in a dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Knowledge of AS9100, ITAR, CMMC, FAR and DFAR requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- U.S. Citizenship required (no dual citizenship).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Expertise in data aggregation, analysis, and performance reporting (supplier, program, financial).
- Experience in Supplier Management or Contract Deliverables to cost, schedule, and performance.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders, subcontractors, and customers.
- Knowledge of aerospace/FAA design requirements, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of ASME 14.5-2018 GD&T standards and the ability to read and understand drawings
- Familiarity with aerospace drafting standards and configuration control.
- Experience with SolidWorks and Teamcenter data management software.
- Comfortable presenting in customer-facing settings.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND VISUAL DEMANDS
· Standard office environment; occasional exposure to manufacturing plant noise/temperature, requiring PPE.
· Frequent speaking, listening, and computer use.
· Vision requirements include depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
