Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure Infrastructure Administrator to manage
and optimize our Microsoft Azure cloud environment. This role is critical to ensuring the
reliability, performance, and security of our cloud-based systems and services. The ideal
candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure services, infrastructure automation,
and hybrid environment support.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management
• Administer and maintain Azure resources including virtual machines, storage
accounts, networking components, and selected PaaS services (e.g., Logic Apps,
Functions).
• Support infrastructure deployments using existing CI/CD pipelines with Azure
DevOps and Bicep templates.
• Monitor system performance and resource utilization; optimize for cost and
efficiency.
Networking
• Create and configure VNets: define address spaces, subnets, and IP ranges.
• Implement subnetting to segment VNets for isolation and traffic control.
• Apply and manage Network Security Groups (NSGs) to control traffic.
• Configure VNet peering to connect VNets across regions or subscriptions.
• Set up VPN and ExpressRoute for hybrid connectivity with on-premises networks.
• Configure DNS using Azure DNS for internal and external name resolution.
• Implement load balancing with Azure Load Balancer or Application Gateway.
Security & Compliance
• Apply security best practices across Azure environments, including access controls,
encryption, and firewall configurations.
• Coordinate with security teams to address infrastructure vulnerabilities and meet
compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2).
Automation & Scripting
• Develop and maintain PowerShell or Bicep scripts for infrastructure provisioning and
configuration.
• Support Terraform-based deployments and assist with troubleshooting pipeline
execution.
Monitoring & Reporting
• Configure alerts and dashboards for infrastructure health, usage, and cost visibility.
• Provide reporting and collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure
proactive issue resolution.
Collaboration & Support
• Work closely with development, BI, and security teams to support application
deployments and integrations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams for managing Azure resources.

Qualifications

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience managing Azure infrastructure in a mid-to-large enterprise
setting.
• Strong understanding of Azure services: VMs, Storage, Networking, Azure AD, and
DevOps.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and infrastructure security practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-500, or equivalent) preferred.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Lucid scale or similar tools for cloud architecture visualization.
• Knowledge of Azure cost management and billing modules.
• Exposure to hybrid cloud environments and integration with on-prem systems.
