The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

A broad and varied role in a great team which provides legal advice to our colleagues, in London and our international offices. Typical tasks include the following (and no two days are the same):

  • Conducting legal research, articulating views clearly in writing and verbally

  • Reviewing regulatory guidance in all jurisdictions in which the firm operates and keeping team updated of developments

  • Assisting in the preparation of compliance and risk training

  • Assisting with the provision of in-house legal advice to practice groups, the preparation of responses to client questionnaires and pitch information requests

  • Providing support to in-house disputes team, including with respect to regulatory and claims matters

  • Assisting with the document management of policies, databases and client terms of engagement

  • Assisting with corporate governance and company secretarial functions

  • Assisting with the firm's internal agreements and constitutional arrangements between its legal entities and partners

  • Assisting with the renewal of the firm's insurance policies, including addressing queries from underwriters  

  • Creating and maintaining on-line resources

  • Administrative tasks

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

  • LPC qualified desirable

  • Degree educated or similar level

  • Demonstrable paralegal experience, with a preference for experience in a City practice
