Video Production Student Worker presso University of Virginia
University of Virginia · Charlottesville, Stati Uniti d'America · Onsite
- Ufficio in Charlottesville
The Office of University Communications is looking for a student worker to help with the University’s central video production and digital publishing work.
UVA Communications is responsible for creating visual content for the UVA social platforms, virginia.edu, UVA Today, and a variety of paid marketing materials related to the University. Our student workers in the past have produced video stories about the UVA Debate Team, directed a Cavman reveal, and scripted and starred in Year in Review wrap ups. Working with the multimedia team means behind-the-scenes access to events, and opportunities to meet and work with interesting and important people across Grounds.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in visual communication, marketing, and social media, and experience editing in Adobe Premiere. Video production and animation skills are a plus, but not required, as we can provide training. This is a paid position for 5-15 hours a week, with most hours expected to be in office if not on a video production. Hours are adjustable around the student’s class schedule and dependent on the specific project.
The student worker will serve as a liaison between UVA communications and members of the student body and will keep abreast of student life events that help tell the overall University experience. If you are interested in visual storytelling, have great ideas for social media content, or just want to help tell the story of the University of Virginia, please apply here with a resume and any relevant work samples. Reach out to [email protected] with any questions.
The University of Virginia is an equal opportunity employer. All interested persons are encouraged to apply, including veterans and individuals with disabilities. Click here to read more about UVA’s commitment to non-discrimination and equal opportunity employment.
