PMO Expert – more than just Project Assistance!

We are looking for a PMO (Project Management Office) Expert (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible in a permanent role. Both full-time and part-time employment are possible.

Location

Our headquarters is in Berlin – but we’re also looking for you in Hamburg, Potsdam, Dresden, Cologne, or remotely – because mobile working is part of our company culture.

Responsibilities:

Your mission with us

Our PMO Experts are a key success factor in projects, standing alongside project leads as experts in project management. They take significant, independent responsibility for project success and for efficient project structures across the company.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Supporting IT project managers in designing and establishing IT processes and workflows, as well as in resource, stakeholder, and risk management.

  • Assisting in the preparation of presentations and IT decision templates.

  • Documenting and tracking progress within projects while ensuring consistent information sharing.

  • Maintaining an overview of projects, contracts, budgets, and timelines.

  • Supporting project controlling and billing.

  • Maintaining tools for IT project management and documentation.

  • Project-specific scheduling and coordination.

  • Supporting the preparation, execution, and follow-up of client meetings and workshops.

  • Acting as an interface within and between project teams, clients, and internal departments.

  • Maintaining and further developing knowledge management in projects.

  • Organizational coordination of subcontractors.

  • Assisting in participation in tenders.

Qualifications:

What you bring to the table

  • Degree in business administration/computer science or comparable commercial training, plus several years of professional experience, e.g. in PMO or project assistance.

  • Affinity and interest in IT project activities and strong technical understanding.

  • Ideally, several years of experience in project management.

  • Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, as well as in project management tools (e.g. Atlassian Jira, Certinia, D365).

  • Excellent German skills, both written and spoken.

  • Good English skills, both written and spoken.

  • A solution-oriented working style with a hands-on mentality.

  • Team player with strong quality awareness, attention to detail, and a healthy sense of humor.
