Rochester Midland Corporation Rochester Midland Corporation, a leading manufacturer and global supplier of specialty chemicals for boiler, cooling and wastewater treatment is seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Architect the Ogden, New York. The Enterprise Applications Architect is responsible for solutioning, supporting, and optimizing enterprise business applications across all functional areas. This role serves as the primary point of contact for application-related issues, enhancements, and integrations, ensuring that business systems meet organizational needs and drive operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise applications (including ERP, financial, and operational systems).

• Collaborate with stakeholders from all departments to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.

• Lead or assist with application implementation, configuration, upgrades, integrations, and testing.

• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements leveraging application capabilities.

• Develop and maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and user guides.

• Train users and create training materials to maximize system adoption.

• Monitor application performance, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for optimization.

• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within supported applications.

• Coordinate with vendors and external consultants for advanced support or project delivery.

• Stay current with technology trends and recommend new tools or enhancements to improve business operations.

• Perform similar/related duties as requested


EDUCATION/ SPECIAL LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Relevant certifications in enterprise applications or project management are a plus.


EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years’ experience supporting and implementing enterprise business applications (ERP, financial, or operational systems)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with all levels of staff

• Experience with SQL, reporting tools (e.g., SSRS), and business process improvement is preferred


SKILLS:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP systems

• Project management and change management experience

• Ability to train and mentor users on application best practices

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to work cross-functionally with business leaders, technical teams, and customers
