Packout D3 presso Pacific Coast Producers

Pacific Coast Producers is seeking to fill Pack Out Scale Operator position at its cherry production facilities in The Dalles.   

As a Pack Out Scale Operator, you will assure that all products are weighed and packed correctly with the proper bin tags attached.  

Primary Duties Include:

• Make sure all bin tags are marked properly with regards to the fruit being packed in the bin,
• Make sure scales are balanced, if not, escalating to management.  
• Record hourly pack out information in pitting / sizing operations and verify pack out at the end of each shift.
• Create JDE Tags for bubs
• Maintain a clean, organized and hazard free work area.
• Communicate fruit change information with pitter feed operator
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate ability to read, write and comprehend instructions in English in relation to, operations and safety
• Demonstrates ability to follow processes and systems
• Must be General Labor certified
• Demonstrate reliability and maintain a good attendance record.
• Ability to become respirator certified to work with or near brine, and / or other fumes.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent physical activity includes walking, bending, standing, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, hearing, color identification, close and far vision, and depth perception. Moderate physical activity includes stooping and crouching.
