As the Reality Check Lead, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:  

  • Engage, build and maintain relationships with local  youth and adults, businesses, elected officials and organizations (such as local coalitions, hospitals, youth, adults, chambers of commerce, mayors, councilmen, business executives, etc.) to participate in Advancing Tobacco Free Community (ATFC) efforts.
  • Coordinate communication and work plan engagement between the community engagement and youth action components of the program.
  • Implement actions to reduce the impact of retail tobacco marketing on youth through various action oriented plans and implementation of local or statewide policies to encourage tobacco free communities. 
  • Plan and prepare a variety of communication and media methods to educate communities, encourage support of tobacco-free programming including youth-rated movies and social media and meet work plan deliverables.
  • Disseminate tobacco related information in community venues and at community events.

 

Reality Check Lead Minimum Salary: $ 28.05

 

Reality Check Lead Maximum Salary: $ 28.05

 

Reality Check Lead Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8 AM - 3:30 PM, but flexible due to program requirements
 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Associate's degree in Health, Psychology, Education or a related field, (Bachelor's preferred)
  • 1 - 3 years of experience working with a diverse population and youth
  • Valid Driver's License 
  • Must have a reliable and working vehicle
