POSITION: Leasing Specialist (Travel Support)
REPORTS TO: Manager, Travel Support
COMPENSATION: Salary, plus Benefits and Bonus eligibility
LOCATION: Hybrid in Dallas, TX
SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a confident and dynamic Leasing Specialist who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. This role is ideal for someone with strong leasing skills, an outgoing personality, and a passion for helping people find their next home. While you will mainly travel to properties within your city, travel to properties outside of your city may also be required at times. You’ll primarily be focused on converting prospects into residents at our lease-up communities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel up to 95% of the time, including occasional weekends.
- Engage with prospective residents and deliver high-conversion leasing tours.
- Jump in and support leasing teams by generating leads, following up with prospects, and closing leases.
- Be a leasing role model—demonstrate excellent customer service, strong product knowledge, and persuasive communication.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement leasing strategies and boost traffic.
- Bring high energy and a solutions-focused mindset to each community.
- Help train new leasing consultants on sales techniques and resident engagement.
- Represent the company brand with a polished, professional presence and a positive attitude.
- Bring the right energy to the lease-ups, ensuring nothing in standing in the way of leasing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in apartment leasing or a similar sales/customer service role.
- High emotional intelligence and confidence in connecting with diverse people.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent follow-up habits and sales drive.
- Adaptability—you thrive in fast-paced environments and love new challenges.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule while traveling.
- Willingness to support multiple property types, including affordable and market-rate housing.
- Comfortable using property management software such as Yardi, Entrata, or similar systems (training provided if needed).
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Previous experience working in multiple housing markets.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
You are required to work both inside and outside of the office and in all areas of the residential property, including amenities, and have frequent exposure to outside elements where temperature, weather, odors, and landscape may be unpleasant and/or hazardous.]
Employees working remotely are required to adhere to the same work schedule in effect at the office unless otherwise agreed to in writing with your manager as needed to support the Company’s business needs. Employees are expected to work a full eight (8) hour day and be available during these hours unless an alternate schedule is approved by the employee’s manager. Any need for time away from work for doctor’s appointments, errands, personal time, and vacation must be requested in advance and approved by the employee’s manager.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, the team member must be able to engage in routine physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and using hands for typing and handling materials. The position requires the ability to access all areas of the property—both interior and exterior—in varying weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and wind.
Team members must be capable of lifting or moving items up to 20 pounds and possess adequate visual abilities, including close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel may be required for training, property support, or other job-related needs.
