Responsibilities

The Renaissance Pointe YMCA is looking for an After School Driver to provide safe transportation to and from program sites while maintaining a supportive and positive atmosphere. 

• Connect: Have a warm, engaging, and friendly demeanor with a willingness to foster positivity among staff, volunteers, parents, and children.
• Deliver: Actively engage with and provide safe transportation for program participants to deliver quality YMCA experience.
• Lead: Follow all safety standards and report issues to the Program Director and/or Executive Director, as needed.

Requirements 

Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne as well as

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
• 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
• Excellent human relation skills and enthusiasm.
• Basic math skills and demonstrated recordkeeping proficiency.
• An elevated level of organization, flexibility, and ability to handle difficult situations effectively. 
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Successfully complete within 60 days of hire: CPR/First Aid/O2 Certification, Bloodborne Pathogen training, Child Abuse Prevention 

Salary: Part-time $12.44 to $14.50

Hours Available: Monday- Friday 2:00pm-3:30pm
