Job Description:SGS is looking for Electrical & Instrumentation or/and Mechanical inspectors (Contract) for approximatively 2 months of work.
Scope of work:
Product to inspect: Instrument Air Compressor Units on Structural Skids - Tag # CBE-7515 and CBE-7545.
Scope of services:
- Monitor and Verify construction and assembly as per ITP
- Witness testing
- Review NDE and quality records
- Verify equipment
- Final inspection
- Equipment Release
Qualifications:
- Certified API SIRE inspector is preferable
- AWS CWI certification
- NDE (UT, MT, PT, etc..) & NACE certifications are preferable.
- Must have good Quality Assurance / inspection experience of rotating equipment especially compressors
- Skid fabrication inspection experience would be an asset
- The inspector will be required to sign an independent contractor agreement/sub-contractor agreement (1099) with SGS North America Inc.
- Expected length of contract is 2 months.
- Pay - $45/$50 per hour.
