Job Title: Installation Coordinator
Reports To: Customer Service Manager
Summary:
The Installation Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of installation projects from sales through final installation, including warranty support. This role works closely with Operations, Scheduling, Field Service Reps, Installers, and end customers to ensure smooth execution of retail, builder, project, and development installations. The Installation Coordinator balances multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with all stakeholders, and ensures customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate installation schedules with the Customer, Scheduling team, Operations, and Installers.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding installation timelines and requirements.
- Prepare and confirm job details to ensure installers have accurate and complete information.
- Communicate proactively with customers about schedules, changes, or requirements.
- Track project progress and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely completion.
- Handle multiple projects at once, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Assist in resolving on-site issues by coordinating between the customer, installation team, and internal departments.
- Support documentation, reporting, and project tracking for installations.
- Collaborate with Operations to improve efficiency, reduce scheduling conflicts, and enhance customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or related industries an asset.
- Customer-focused with problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office or scheduling/project management software.
