Position Summary:
The candidate will be responsible for collecting and reviewing closed loan files returned from the signing agents to ensure that the loan is closed in accordance with the closing instructions along with verifying that the recordable instruments meet the necessary state and county guidelines. Candidates will also be responsible for gathering outstanding conditions and shipping the documents to the client on a timely basis.
Essential Functions:
· Ensure company receives fully executed files in a timely fashion from signing vendors
· Facilitates review, corrections if needed, and delivery of completed packages to lender
· Remedy Post closing issues or omitted items through contact with vendors, clients and/or borrowers
· Monitor and respond to queries/.information in a secured platform
· Understand and comply with regulatory requirements for funding, recording
· Ability to detect error and create a preventative mechanism prior to submitting executed closing documents prior to funding and recording
· Prepare post- closing checklist for shipping of loan file to client
· Contact borrower, lender and signing agent for any remediation items needed
· Image and copy and required documents for client compliance
· All other duties as assigned
Education, Licensure, and Experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Minimum of 1 year post closing experience or mortgage experience
COMPETENCIES:
· Excellent attention to detail
· Highly detail oriented and ability to work in fast paced environment
· Possesses excellent communication and customer service skills
· A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
· Proficiency with personal computers
· Meet minimum production goals and quality requirements set by management
· Typing/data entry skills, minimum 45 wpm with 95% accuracy
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate orally. The employee uses hands and fingers to type, handle, and reach. Operating office machinery such as a computer, phone, copier, printer, etc. is necessary in the commission of daily duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
