About the Role
The Territory Development Representative is responsible for the development of accounts in the On - Premise, UDS , Third Party, Vending, Schools, Special Events and IBS channels of our business in an assigned geographic region. Focus is on achieving financial targets (Volume and Margin Growth, New Vending and Fountain Placements, Equipment throughputs) using a consultative selling approach. This position must work closely with the Tell Sell Representatives executing marketplace initiatives and promotions in tell sell accounts, thereby maximizing brand and package performance. The position is also responsible for working with internal customers to identify opportunities for improving processes which add value to all customers. The Territory Development Representative must be focused on providing WP Beverages with profitable growth through the sale and distribution of our refreshing beverages, innovative customer focused marketing programs and superior customer service. Primary job duties generally fall into the following categories: 1) development and communication of sales strategy and supporting programs; 2) direct sales to the On - Premise, UDS, Third Party, Vending, Schools, Special Events and IBS channels; 3) generate and foster partnerships with specific strategic non-retail customers, as assigned leading to long-term business success. 4) Work closely with Tell Sell Representative executing marketplace initiatives and promotions in tell sell accounts, thereby maximizing brand and package performance. 5) Solicit new business to increase volume and new package distribution.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field is preferred.
- Minimum five years sales experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires a strong and current record of new business development, business planning skills and account development expertise.
- Ability to gain organizational alignment to deliver against customer needs.
- Ability to set goals, establishes plans, prioritize and organize efforts to execute and meet goals.
- Persuasive and diplomatic communication skills. Strong negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail and follow through.
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- High level of integrity and honesty.
