Your area of work

As a Global Technical & Clearing Key Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our key clients, overseeing their trading, clearing, and technical requirements. 
You’ll be more than just functional & technical support contact – you’ll be a trusted advisor and strategic partner. In this role, you will:

  • Advocate for client needs across internal teams and departments
  • Resolve time-sensitive issues with precision and professionalism
  • Guide clients through technical changes and system enhancements
  • Stay calm and focused when the stakes are high

 

Your responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Being the first point of contact for daily business-related issues concerning fixed income, cash, and derivative products. Building and maintaining a robust network of contacts within client firms
  • Proactive Client Engagement: Proactively informing clients about upcoming initiatives, new releases, and changes. Ensuring clients' functional, regulatory, and technical standards are met, and guiding them through new software releases and technical updates
  • Technical & Functional Support: Providing comprehensive support for client technical queries relating to both cash and derivative markets as well as demonstrating in-depth technical know-how of our connectivity options and different setups to understand client configurations and aid them effectively
  • Query Resolution & Coordination: Working on ad-hoc queries, maintaining and coordinating overall interfaces, and realizing change processes. Acting as the main liaison between Deutsche Börse Group and the client for all technical issues and queries related to our products and market segments
  • Regulatory Guidance: Understanding and applying relevant German and global financial regulations and initiatives to guide clients and their operations accordingly
  • Internal Collaboration: Coordinating closely with internal teams (e.g., networking teams, product development) and other stakeholders to resolve client technical issues and ensure seamless service delivery

 

Your profile

  • You have completed your university degree in finance, economics, IT, or related field
  • You are a resilient professional with experience in client service or tech-adjacent roles
  • You can communicate clearly and confidently with clients, stay proactive and composed under pressure
  • You are a fast learner who is eager to grow into a specialized, high-impact field
  • You enjoy solving complex problems and connecting the dots across systems
  • You are proficient in English (German is a plus)

Salary range: $70,000 - 80,000 annually
