This position works at our Ashland City, TN location and is eligible for a hybrid schedule after 90 days of employment.  Hours are Monday though Friday 8am-5pm.

Primary Function

The Specialty Commercial Coordinator plays a key role in managing open orders for specialty customers, ensuring seamless execution from order entry through delivery.  This position collaborates closely with production, scheduling, transportation, distribution centers, and order entry teams to ensure timely and complete fulfillment of key account orders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily management of open specialty commercial orders.
  • Coordinate with planners at McBee and Lebanon facilities to ensure proper material setup and production execution.
  • Understand and navigate work cell flow at McBee and Lebanon for large commercial unit production.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, including production planning, transportation, order entry, and distribution centers.
  • Serve as a liaison with regional sales managers and representatives supporting specialty commercial products.
  • Apply knowledge of MRP systems to support the specialty commercial order process.
  • Notify Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) of new material numbers once available.
  • Provide daily SAP support to CSRs.
  • Proactively identify and escalate issues to the Order Management leadership team.
  • Support expedite requests for commercial and residential products during non-peak periods.
  • Make independent decisions to ensure accurate and timely set-up of specialty products.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Order Management, preferably with SAP.
  • Strong customer focus with a sense of urgency and efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent veral and written communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with SAP, Tableau, Celonis, and Excel-based analysis.
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
