We are now seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to play a pivotal role in developing and managing high-impact communication strategies that align with Genesis Minerals ASPIRE values and objectives. The role requires a combination of corporate communications expertise, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and industry knowledge to support operational priorities and strengthen relationships within the business and with key stakeholders.
The Opportunity:
Corporate Communications
Develop and implement the Genesis communication strategy, framework and supporting tools that will support the Genesis vision, values and business objectives.
Coordinate and produce with relevant stakeholders our company reports including the Annual Report and Sustainability Report.
Internal Communications
Lead internal communication initiatives to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with company goals.
Support senior leaders with internal communications to ensure consistent messaging and in line with our strategy and framework.
Support change management and cultural alignment programs through targeted communication campaigns.
Produce regular internal newsletters, video updates, and leadership messages.
Digital, Website & Social Media
Support the development of content and regular review of the company’s website, LinkedIn, and other digital channels with key stakeholders.
Ensure consistent branding and messaging across relevant platforms.
Use analytics to evaluate communication effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
Championing the use of intranet technology across the Company including providing education and training to stakeholders.
Maintaining the Company’s style guide and branding guidelines, and document and presentation templates in conjunction with the Company’s document management process.
Developing, cataloguing and maintaining the Company’s photo library.
Events Management
Support the planning of, coordinate, and deliver internal and external events including staff forums, recruitment open days, and milestone celebrations and functions.

We’re excited to hear from you if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
Driver’s License
Strong demonstrated experience in corporate communications, preferably within the mining/resources sector.
Experience in producing ASX-compliant materials advantageous.
