Scope and Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for Fund Treasury daily operations and activities including Payments, Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs), Bank Account Management, Online Banking Administration including access entitlements, Capital Activity and Reporting.

  • Manage functional teams responsible for Fund Treasury activities ensuring processes and deliverables have well defined success criteria and are consistently completed timely and accurately using KPIs to monitor volume, measure quality, and balance workloads

  • Manage daily approval related tasks which can include but not limited to: payments, payment templates, bank account requests and account data validation across various platforms

  • Create transparency on operational activities and status updates on daily operational requests through dashboard reporting tools and consistent communication 

  • Monitor SLAs across functional processes and identify trends to highlight areas of success and/or opportunities for improvements

  • Ensure timely escalation management across daily activities while actively reaching out to banking partners clearly communicating issues and resolution needed

  • Collaborate with teams across the CFO Finance organization including Fund Accounting, Investment Operations and Corporate teams to identify opportunities and deliver measurable process improvements

  • Lead transformation projects including technology-enabled initiatives while clearly presenting ROI and efficiencies

  • Manage change initiatives closely ensuring milestones are completed timely, teams are informed, issues are raised and addressed while mitigating implementation risk

  • Provide leadership and guidance to Treasury team fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork and communication

Experience Required

  • 15+ years of experience in Treasury and/or Cash Management Operations

  • Investment management or global financial services experience preferred

  • Experience with various financial institutions including investment banks, custodians and prime brokers

  • Using industry utilities and communication protocols such as SWIFT

  • Experience with a TMS, Workday, Geneva platforms preferred

  • Measurable process improvement track record

Education

A bachelor’s degree is required.
