Job Title: Manager – Non-IT Strategic Procurement 
Location : Bangalore/Hybrid (India)
Role Type: Individual Contributor
 
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Manager – Procurement (Technical Purchasing) to support strategic sourcing and procurement of technical components, services, and materials. This role is ideal for someone with 7–10 years of hands-on experience in managing supplier relationships, sourcing technical categories, and executing procurement strategies for tier 2 and smaller agreements.
As a strategic lead for assigned projects, the manager will gather requirements, lead the sourcing process, and drive contract negotiations in collaboration with global engineering, legal, and finance stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and lead RFx (RFP, RFQ, RFI) processes and analyze supplier responses
  • Manage sourcing projects for technical goods and services including industrial equipment, spare parts, raw materials, or engineering services
  • Develop sourcing strategies and plans for small to mid-size agreements in collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify best-fit vendors
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and SLAs with suppliers for low to mid-value contracts
  • Coordinate with legal to review and finalize supplier agreements
  • Maintain and update supplier databases, contract records, and spend analysis tools
  • Track key supplier performance metrics and support supplier issue resolution
  • Follow procurement policies, sourcing templates, and compliance standards

Qualifications & Experience:
  • 7–10 years of procurement or sourcing experience, with a focus on technical purchasing or engineering categories
  • Experience working with technical specs, BOMs, or product drawings
  • Familiarity with sourcing industrial equipment, mechanical/electrical components, or MRO items
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (required)
  • Strong collaboration skills with engineering, operations, and finance teams
  • Experience working in a global/offshore environment is preferred
