We are seeking a Data Modeler to join our dynamic Tech team. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and a strong critical thinker. You will work closely with stakeholders to design, improve, and maintain data models that support SCOR’s data-driven initiatives. You will also contribute to data governance, ensure model consistency, and collaborate with architects and analysts to deliver high-quality data assets.
Responsibilities
Key duties and responsibilities[
- You design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business needs.
- You contribute to the development of analytical data models that support analytics products and self-service analysis.
- You collaborate with Tech and Enterprise Architects to align data models with enterprise architecture.
- You participate in the Data Modeling chapter to promote best practices and standardization.
- You ensure data models comply with governance policies and support data quality frameworks.
- You support metadata documentation, data lineage, and business definitions in collaboration with data stewards.
Qualifications
Required experience & competencies
- Proven experience in data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical models.
- Proficiency in PySpark or SQL and knowledge of data architecture patterns.
- Knowledge of data plateforms such as Databricks or Palantir Foundry is a plus.
- Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data privacy.
- Strong analytical thinking, autonomy, and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, matrix environment.
