Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a Special Education Teacher to serve throughout the rest of the 2025-26 school year. This position is INR (Intent Not to Renew). Must have or be eligible to receive a Colorado teacher license with a Special Education Generalist endorsement. Must be able to make core class curriculum accommodations. Must have patience, flexibility, sense of humor and the ability to be a strong team player with collaboration skills. Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 17 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 18, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,550-$73,848. The current teacher pay schedule can be found on our website. *This position is eligible for a $2,000 bonus - $1000 to be paid after 90 days and $1000 paid in March 2026 paycheck.
