Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning team in managing the planning and production process.
  • Support team in developing and maintaining various reporting and analytical tools to meet/exceed production and inventory goals.
  • Liaise with our cross-functional teams to make assortment planning decisions based on historical and current data.
  • Analyze and recap actual production results to plan and maintain inventory on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis.
  • Maintain system data accuracy, including lead-time, order minimums, supplier information, and current purchase order data.
  • Provide back-up support for supply chain functions including Purchasing, Logistics, Production Scheduling, and other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in the completion of departmental tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 years of related production planning experience
  • Knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) Software
  • Epicor (MRP) experience preferred

 Core Skills Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office Suite with heavy proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
