What this position entails
The R&D Data Analyst will be a key resource in supporting the new business solutions that are being developed and launched by IntelliScript’s Business Development department. You will perform research, analytics, and other technical support for both clients and internal stakeholders.
As an R&D Data Analyst, you will balance detail-oriented organizational skills and data analytics acumen to support proof-of-concept studies, early go-lives, and ad-hoc analytics for clients. You will also leverage effective verbal and written communication to share results with internal stakeholders. This includes creating and peer reviewing client deliverables to ensure quality of results, adapting to evolving priorities and deadlines while maintaining excellence in your work, and providing business intelligence support to BD Sales Consultants and other stakeholders throughout the sales process.
You will also work closely with the Product and Engineering functions within the R&D team to support product enhancements and software development for new and existing R&D solutions. You will conduct research to support new product features, as well as help document user stories and assist with user acceptance testing to validate new functionalities.

What you will be doing
- Perform client proof-of-concept studies and generate other recurring client deliverables
- Work with BD consultants and internal experts to complete analyses related to client questions and ad-hoc needs
- Anticipate and address questions that will arise during business review
- Actively engage in peer review processes, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the quality and consistency of work produced and reviewed
- Conduct research projects from start to finish by working with other IntelliScript teams, where necessary, which may lead to discussing system and process changes within the R&D system
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development efforts
- Provide UAT support to ensure product quality and alignment with requirements
- Balance numerous projects/tasks with varying deadlines and difficulty without sacrificing quality of work
What we need
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data analytics, product research, or related role
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven capacity for critical thinking and problem-solving under tight deadlines

Location
The expected application deadline for this job is December 31, 2025. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events (up to 5%).
Compensation
The overall salary range for this role is $59,200 - $113,760. For candidates residing in:
- Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $65,120 - $104,280.
- New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is $71,040 - $113,760.
- All other locations the salary range is $59,200 - $94,800.
A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
