This is a hybrid role based in Weston, Florida.

SUMMARY:
The Director of International Strategy & Product Management is responsible for product vision & strategy, execution, and management of international products to achieve commercial success in the market. This role manages current product portfolio of 170m USD per year and spearheads strategic initiatives to expand international revenue.

This role will oversee developing the product strategy and managing all aspects of our international product portfolio. The role will lead/facilitate the development of new products to solve complexities of international shipping and enable streamlined international e-commerce for key stakeholders, customers, and partners.  All aspects of this role are intended to position DHL as the innovative leader in the international product space.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Collaborate with cross-functional department leads and Senior Leadership, in addition to customers and business leaders, to define the strategic product direction to achieve market success
•Develop and communicate on ongoing basis overarching strategy and detailed assessment of the market environment, where we play, and how we win 
•Define product development roadmap themes and focus areas proactively incorporating customer needs, competitive landscape and industry trends
•Maintain and publish product roadmap of key initiatives, timelines/progress, and responsible parties; Ensure information is widely available to key internal stakeholders and departments to inform broader organizational priorities and actions 
•Lead/drive international product innovation and the implementation of new solutions throughout the new product development lifecycle, including new products and digital solutions
•Facilitate collaborations with in-house development and/or integration with key external partners to design and implement new solutions 
•Implement digital solutions to enhance our product offering to customers and end-consumers
•Responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and developing team of (senior) managers
•Perform ongoing business reviews and drive initiatives to address decline in overall business or product level 
•Partner closely with Sales team on larger customer opportunities to define potential offering solutions to support the specific needs of key clients. Responsible for associated implementation of identified opportunities from concept to go-live of customer shipping 


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 
•Bachelor’s degree in international studies, business, or other related degree required
•Master or MBA preferred
•10+ years experience in the logistics industry and holistic understanding of International Parcel delivery networks required
•5 years of supervisory or management experience required

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
•Experience project managing large multi-department initiatives with successful outcomes
•Experience leading and creating strategic plans
•Strong planning, project management and organizational skills
•Strategic thinker, able to balance the needs of the immediate term with vision for the long term
•Strong analytical, problem solving and quantitative analysis skills
•Excellent communicator and ability to interface with all levels of management
•Ability to motivate, inspire and lead a team

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
•Physical demands are consistent with a professional office setting
•Regular sitting at workstation for 75-100% of the work shift
•Travel required (<10%)
