About the role

The Warehouse Manager for our Clark, NJ site will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the warehouse. Responsibilities include inbound shipping of raw materials, outbound shipping and shuttles, scheduling and organizing orders. Must effectively communicate with both Plant Supply Chain, Corporate Supply Chain, customers and carriers.

Key responsibilities

1.  Oversees the efficient operations and inventory of the plant, outside storage facilities and yard.

2.  Responsible for organizing the warehouse and the workflow.

3.  Maintaining inventory based on FIFO and assist in preventing customer service issues.

4.  Responsible for delivery of KPI’s for warehouse and cost control.

5.  Assist in timely processing of orders, accuracy of pick-ups, quantity of pick-ups per employee and providing resources for cycle counts.

6.  Coordinate transportation carriers and performance through the utilization of TMS and ensuring all scheduled shipping and receiving appointments are timely and in support of production and customer requirements.

7.  Familiarity with OSHA guidelines for forklift use and general warehousing and insure these regulations are in place and enforced.

8.  Ensuring warehouse operations are appropriately staffed and employees are properly trained and certified to execute their duties.

Qualifications and skills

A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing warehouse and distribution leadership role

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience in manufacturing warehouse management. Candidates should have previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment

Demonstrated ability to lead change. Proven experience in various management/leadership positions. Demonstrated ability to be a champion for change.
