About the Company
A fast-growing real estate investment and development company focused on healthcare and senior living is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This role will manage financial reporting and operational accounting across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and property subledgers
- Review financial packages from third-party property management firms
- Analyze and report on variances and financial issues
- Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Real estate or construction background preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Full cycle accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel; Yardi experience a plus
