We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Coordinator II or III to join the DCLI Procurement team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and possess experience in supplier relationship management, cross-functional collaboration, and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in managing supplier relationships to consistently meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional meetings and collaborate effectively with internal teams such as Accounting, Operations, and Finance to support business requirements and align procurement strategies.
  • Prior experience analyzing historical purchasing data to establish appropriate minimum and maximum inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and associated carrying costs
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement operations, including how purchase orders and invoicing flow through downstream processes to accounting, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation and compliance with internal controls.
  • Experience working with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems, with a strong aptitude for quickly learning and adapting to new technologies and digital tools.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills to consistently meet deadlines and support business objectives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends, generate insights, and support data-driven procurement decisions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree along with 2+ years of purchasing or procurement experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working with suppliers and managing procurement processes.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Comfortable communicating in meetings and on calls with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of reconciling inventory variances
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
