SUMMARY
The Manager, Merchandising will work in coordination with the Director, Merchandising to define the assortment & architecture which will align with the strategy & financial plans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Support Director, Merchandising in defining Bulova Jewelry, Caravelle and TFX product and merchant strategy
- Product development for seasonal assortments of the jewelry category
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure product is developed to spec and within the timeline
- Analysis of sales data and consumer insights to determine category growth opportunities
- Align merchandising timeline and process with the development calendar
- Support Merchandising Director on product life cycle including size of line, assortment plans and discontinuation.
- Ensures communication of product updates to cross-functional team, Marketing, PR, Sales, Finance, Demand Planning & International markets
- Coordinates with PD for tracking, shipping, and organization of all product samples
- Supports ancillary projects such as bi-annual catalog creation, seasonal planogram’s, packaging Responsible for creation and accuracy of internal documentation
- Monitor accuracy of data in Perfion system
- Liaises with the Special Business units (National sales, Independent Sales, Travel Retail, DTC & International market teams) as needed
- Creates Investment sheet documentation for all new development purchases
- Partners with Marketing to support Go-To-Market plans
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Domestic travel as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Watch and/or Jewelry experience
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional team members
- Ability to consistently communicate in a clear and timely manner
- Proficient in Powerpoint, Excel & Outlook
- Experience in Power BI, a plus
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience in a merchant or buying role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
