With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and innovative business practices, we’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Corporate IT Director to lead and evolve our technology infrastructure and support systems.
Position Summary
As the Corporate IT Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT operations across our dealership network. You will lead a team to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable technological solutions that support business growth, compliance, and performance. Based at our corporate office in Eugene, Oregon, this role will work closely with dealership leadership, vendors, and internal teams to drive innovation and operational success through technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with business objectives
- Ensure uptime for dealership employees and systems – Device and hardware management, lifecycle management
- Oversee infrastructure management, including networks, servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity
- Lead and support IT team members across multiple locations
- Ensure data security, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place and tested
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and service
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and IT budgets
- Provide responsive, high-quality support to internal users across all dealership locations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FTC Safeguards Rule, data privacy laws)
- Ability to travel to onsite to Southern California, Idaho, and Oregon stores as needed, up to 30% of the time. Onsite work includes moving or setting up new network at new or remodeled locations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field – Would consider someone with a lesser or technical degree if they had more experience. Such as “Bachelor’s degree or 12 years minimum experience in related field”
- 7+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in a multi-site retail or automotive environment
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity
- Experience with Ubiquity UniFi Dream Machines and Access Points a plus
- Experience with SD-WAN networking a plus
- Experience setting up and managing Laptops, PC Workstations, IP Printers, tablets and mobile devices.
- Experience managing and assigning Microsoft Licenses
- Proven track record in managing IT budgets, staff, large-scale projects, and managing, updating, and tracking devices remotely
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel occasionally to dealership locations
